Front Cover

For my front cover, i wanted to give it a young effect, so that it draws in the students. I added the cover photo and tilted it. This was because it adds interest to the cover, instead of being straight down in the corner. The black border around the picture, i think works well as it separates the cover photo from the main photo.

  1. .I agree that the black border on the mini photgraph makes it look better, and also I think the magazine meets the target audience (:
.I love the title of the magazine :)

You could include text that relates to the separate photo :) x

  2. The lush green background and elaborate, feminine font gives your cover quite an idyllic, 'old-school' feel. A couple of things to consider are that the second photo is right up agains your model's lap so it could look a bit like she's falling over it, which is probably not your intention. Secondly, the 'GSGW' down the right hand margin doesn't seem to be there for any particular reason; normally it would be somewhere near the title so the reader knew that LYL was the GSGW school magazine.
